Good morning,

We are so proud to announce our upcoming Access to Equity Leadership Program informational meeting for elementary and secondary schools.

This is an opportunity for a certificated staff to work after school (club) with a group of 8-12 students on leadership skills in grades 3rd-11th. Students will use leadership skills to develop projects to improve their school and/or community. The students work with a "Leadership Designee" (your choice of a teacher or out of class certificated staff) which guides and supports them along the way. They meet for a maximum of 40 hours and the goal is to create a digital portfolio (on Google Slide or Canva) to submit for possible GATE identification in the category of Leadership Ability. There are many benefits to this program: students build confidence, great for college applications, complete hours towards service-learning graduation requirement, increase your school's gifted identification, etc.
