Summit K12 Connect to Literacy (C2L)

Greetings Principals and Coaches and Counselors,

I hope this email finds you well.

The Multilingual Multicultural Education Department (MMED) is excited to offer Summit K12 Connect to Literacy (C2L) online curriculum to all English Learners (ELs) at your school site. Summit K12 Connect to Literacy is a cutting-edge solution to enhance English Language Proficiency by leveraging the strengths of an online curriculum tailored specifically to meet CA ELD Standards and support student success on the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC).

Multilingual Multicultural Academic Language Coaches (MMALC), International Newcomer Coaches and Counselors had an opportunity to learn more about the Summit K12 C2L last week during their monthly coach meeting. Summit K12 provided an onboarding professional development to all coaches and counselors in attendance. EL Designees will also receive the dedicated professional development this month. Upon completing the Summit K12 C2L professional development, Multilingual Multicultural Academic Language Coaches (MMALC), International Newcomer Coaches and Counselors will be able to provide the training to your teachers and ensure all ELs have access to the online learning platform.

We invite Principals, Multilingual Multicultural Academic Language Coach (MMALC), International Newcomer Coaches and Counselors to join us in this initiative.
